The best of 2017 | A review of an unbelievable year
How do you create a highlight reel of a whole year as a wedding photographer? It’s not easy that’s for sure, so many amazing moments shared with amazing people, I could have easily created a 15 minute slideshow, maybe even longer!!! However after many hours of hard decisions about which images to include and which to leave out I’ve condensed my entire year in to just 3 minutes, and what a year it’s been!
I’ve shot everything this year from really personal DIY weddings in village halls to my first destination wedding in the stunning setting of Lake Como, travelled down to Nottingham and even photographed a wedding in a brewery. It’s been a diverse, interesting and very awesome 12 months!!! Thank you to all my unbelievably wonderful couples for making this a year to remember, I’ve experienced such warmth, kindness and love from you all… I hope the memories we created together last a lifetime <3
On a more personal note I found out my wife and I are expecting baby #2 in February which is incredibly exciting, and I’ve watched Leon, my 3 year old grow from a toddler in to a very funny, slightly headstrong and very caring young boy. I also set up the hugely popular wedding photography website Photographers Keeping it Real, because having a full time job as a photographer, plus having a family clearly wasn’t enough hard work haha.
