Lynsey & James’ wedding – Baltic Mill wedding photography

Baltic Mill wedding photography

Lynsey and James were looking for a photographer with a contemporary style to match their venue, and I was lucky enough to be entrusted with their Baltic Mill wedding photography, and I’m so pleased I was!  Lynsey and James are two of the nicest and most friendly people you could meet, and their wedding was absolutely brilliant… it totally rocked!  It all started at Lynsey’s mum’s house with the bride and her bridesmaids having a very chilled out morning, sipping champagne and getting ready, then moved to St Charles Church in Gosforth for the ceremony, and finally to the Baltic Mill which is a stunning place to have a wedding reception.

The ceremony was really beautiful, the church has a very interesting décor (in a pretty way) and Father O’Connor who I met earlier this year for Claire & John’s wedding at the same place carried out a lovely ceremony with a few laughs here and there and a lot of traditional moments too.  Then afterwards everyone gathered outside and mingled, congratulated the couple and finally we had the confetti before I packed up my gear and headed off to capture Lynsey & James’ Baltic Mill wedding photography.

I managed to arrive at the Baltic Mill just as the heavens opened and as I entered the venue dripping from head to toe even the wedding coordinator gave me a sympathetic look.  I quickly dried off though and later on the sun came out which made for some awesome bride and groom portraits around the venue and on the millennium bridge.  Before that though we had some really touching speeches, and when James gave his there was barely a dry eye in the house!  You can tell family means a lot to these guys and they are all really close and I think that is what made this wedding so amazing.  The atmosphere from start to finish was brilliant and everyone was unbelievably friendly, I felt as welcome at the wedding as any guest so it was great to be a part of their special day.

Many congratulations to Lynsey and James, I absolutely wish you guys a happy future together, and I know you will have one.
