Cuddystone Hall wedding photographer
When Julia and Craig asked me to be their Cuddystone Hall wedding photographer I honestly had no idea where the venue was, it turned out it’s about 10 miles north of Wooler. If you know the area at all you’ll know that 10 miles north of Wooler is, well nothing, except for beautiful scenery, rolling hills and as it turned out an absolute hidden gem of a wedding venue called Cuddystone Hall. What a spot to hold a relaxed, informal and intimate wedding!
When I arrived in the morning Julia was a little on the nervous side but once we got to the ceremony she relaxed and watching her and Craig tie the knot was absolutely beautiful, they are a lovely couple, really friendly and have fantastic children who were a major part of the day and were great fun throughout. As it was my first time as a Cuddystone Hall wedding photographer I was blown away by just how stunning the surroundings were (as were the guests too who mentioned it to me on several occasions), and all the little accents Julia and Craig decorated the venue with really helped add to the feel of the day. There were flowers outside and inside, candles, poems with blanks for guests to complete, a hog roast and many other touches that made for a very classy but relaxed wedding.
As the night drew in and the party was in full swing I headed home, but not before Julia and Craig had romantically danced their first dance as a married couple… another really touching moment between two wonderful and lovely people. The whole day was a really brilliant occasion set in the most amazing setting, even the weather stayed dry despite hail storms the day before. Julia and Craig, many congratulations and thank you to you and your families for making me so welcome on the day, I know you’ll have a wonderful life together!
