I was really happy to hear that the Pension Services Corporation were putting on an Xmas do for their customers at the Assembly Rooms in Newcastle’s city centre. The party was for those recently retired up to and including the elderly, and the latter can sometimes be forgotten about, so when a company that deals specifically with pensioners of all ages recognises them and the importance they have to their business it makes me jump at the chance to take part in the event and document the celebrations for them.
The guests were all treated to a slap up meal, bucks fizz and wine and a nice speech by the chief executive about the company’s performance and the gratitude they have towards their customers… it was really nice to see and I had great fun going around taking photos of people enjoying themselves, and I even stopped every now and then for a chat with the guests.
