Jenni & Chris’ wedding at Jesmond Dene House.
Jenni and Chris had a wonderful wedding at Jesmond Dene House, it was about as perfect as you can get, super relaxed, a real joyful celebration of two of the nicest people you could meet tying the knot, and one hell of a party to finish things off!!!
The weather was just perfect for Jenni & Chris’ big day, everyone making use of the grounds at the venue to mingle, celebrate and soak up the North East sun. They were total geniuses (genii?) with their structure which allowed everyone to make great use of the outdoor areas for as long as possible, I would highly recommend any couple with an early ceremony like these guys to follow suit. With a 11:30am ceremony they stretched out the gap between saying their vows and being seated for their meal so as to have a much shorter gap after the meal and before the first dance. There’s always a bit of a lull after everyone has eaten, yet here we had everyone celebrating and enjoying the sun for as long as possible… these guys are clearly not just a pretty face!!!
This also then meant the transition from meal to party was quick and didn’t give people too long to sit and start to feel lethargic, nope as soon as the mighty The Maverick Rejects start banging out tunes like ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ it was pure mayhem, but of the best kind… people jumping around, dancing and singing their hearts out… it was MEGA!
Jenni and Chris, what can I say, it was nothing but a joy to be your wedding photographer, thank you for welcoming me in to your day and your lives with such open arms!
