Gemma described the International Harvest Church to me as a ‘bit happy clappy’ which was a rather amusing but also really accurate description… there were lots of happy and clappy moments, singing and a live band. To be honest it was unlike any religious service I had shot before, but wow it was really awesome! We then moved on to Dissington Hall which is a great venue (sadly closing the wedding side of their business after 2016) due to it being private use and always feeling like a bit of a house party than a traditional wedding venue, and it was perfect for this really relaxed affair, in fact I can’t think of another venue that would suit Gemma and Sean any better, or their guests who had some of the best dance moves I’ve ever seen! I ventured out in the the night with Gemma and Sean to shoot some long exposures using sparklers to paint with and it was so much fun, and that really sums them up, great fun and always willing to try my ideas in the pursuit of a great photo. What a couple and what a great wedding!
