Summerhill Bowling Club wedding photography
I’ve been dying to shoot wedding photography at Summerhill Bowling Club, it’s such a cool venue!!! I finally got my chance and couldn’t have asked for a nicer, more awesome couple than Fran & James. These guys are so lovely that after we shot an engagement shoot in their private woodland Fran’s parents treated me to tea and donuts around a camp fire, I knew there and then their wedding was going to be amazing, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed!!!
This was one super chilled, fun and exciting wedding, Fran started the day getting ready with her close friends and family at an apartment in Newcastle before the short trip to the Mining Institute, an old building and a somewhat hidden gem right in the middle of the city. I think everything these guys did, every aspect of their wedding had such interesting detail to it, it matched them perfectly, it was very personal and individual, all surrounded by people who clearly love them very much.
After this and a short bus journey I got to shoot their Summerhill Bowling Club wedding photography, and wow what a contrast in the weather, from heavy rain to suddenly sunshine and a rainbow!!! After some mingling and then rocking their portraits it was on to the speeches and then an awesome first dance. The party took no time to get going either with everyone hitting the dancefloor with their best moves. What a wedding, so much fun, so much love, and a wonderful couple. Fran & James you are amazing people, thanks so much to you and your family and friends for making me so welcome on your big day (and for feeding me tea and donuts around a camp fire!!!).
