Ashleigh & Paul’s wedding | Eshott Hall wedding photography

Eshott Hall wedding photography

Ashleigh & Paul are two of the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet, being asked to shoot their Eshott Hall wedding photography was a huge privilege and I can’t thank them enough for being so welcoming and kind.  That’s who they are though, just absolutely lovely people who had a wedding that befitted their personalities perfectly.  It was super chilled, really relaxed, one of those weddings where everyone just feels like such a close part of the couple’s lives… intimate and beautiful in equal measures.

They had their ceremony in the lovely Reading Room, an old chapel which is a bit of a squeeze but just added to the intimate feel of things, it was an emotional part of the day with tears and laughter, above all though a real sense of love in the air.  Afterwards we headed back to the main building (how gorgeous is all that ivy?!) in an old camper van and the drinks reception was soon in full swing.  This was my first time shooting Eshott Hall wedding photography and I loved the venue, it’s a very pretty and private place, perfect for the kind of wedding Ashleigh and Paul had, no one around for miles, just a house party for close friends and family to celebrate with the newly wed couple.

The speeches were very emotional and extremely moving (understandably so, Paul lost his dad and he couldn’t be there sadly), but before long the party started and with a great band everyone was on the dance floor joining the happy couple and boogying the night away!

Many thanks to Ashleigh & Paul for inviting me along to capture your special day, it was an honour to do so.
