Clare & Phil’s amazing DIY boho wedding | Northumberland wedding photography.

I love shooting Northumberland wedding photography, it’s an amazing county with stunning scenery and so many hidden gems… Clare & Phil decided to create something extra special though with a real DIY wedding, holding their reception at Felton Village Hall.  It’s where Clare used to go to Scouts as a small girl (dib dib dob dob) although I suspect it looked quite a bit different on their wedding day.  You’d have to attend a very fancy Scouts club for it to have bunting and festoon lighting!

Clare got ready at the home where she grew up and they were married at the local church, it was such a personal wedding, everything had so much meaning and relevance to them, it made for such a relaxed and fun day!  I’d be hard pushed to find a couple who could make me laugh so much and include me in the day just like one of their own.  We had a real blast and despite not having met until the day itself it felt like we’d known each other for ages!  I think that just comes down to one thing, Clare, Phil, their family and friends are quite simply the most lovely bunch you could hope to meet, so welcoming, fantastic fun and they really know how to throw a party (fish and chip van anyone?!).

Huge congrats to Clare & Phil, and a special shout out to the young guy on his bike who helped create a cool and unusual group shot!
