Dawn & Shaun’s Country and Western wedding.
I’m a firm believer that every wedding is different, and Dawn and Shaun really proved this with their amazing Country and Western wedding at Stanton Hall and Gardens. I’ve never had a wedding quite like it, what a treat for the eyes! I had a feeling it would be amazing when they first told me about their ideas for it, but it most definitely surpassed what I could have imagined. There was no middle ground here, not sort of hinting at a theme, nope we were transported to the US and every aspect of the wedding just worked so brilliantly, from the classic Mustang (want!) to the straw bails, Stetsons, and Jack Daniel’s bottles used to decorate the place… all empty of course (I think Dawn & Shaun will have enjoyed emptying them to make decorations with haha).
Now if you’re going to have a Country and Western wedding you need an appropriate venue, not some big country house hotel right? Well Stanton Hall and Gardens was THE perfect backdrop, in fact I can’t think of a better place for a wedding like this, and the way they styled it just WORKED! Not that I’d expect anything else from Dawn and Shaun, everything they did for this wedding was totally on point, Dawn looked amazing in her dress and Stetson and Shaun likewise with his bolo tie. Of course whilst that is all important, the real importance is the people themselves, and this a very intimate and small wedding, it had an amazing mix of a relaxed vibe during the day and a right old knees up on the night time, but throughout it felt like a loving environment, a close bond between everyone there, all enjoying seeing a cool cowboy marry his perfect cowgirl… there’s really nothing better than that is there?!
Dawn and Shaun, thank you for inviting me along to a wedding that will live in my memory for a long time, you guys are as cool as cucumbers and such warm and kind people too. I had a blast!!!
